Similarly, it is suggested that people on blood thinners should avert Moringa due to its direct effect on blood that may hurdle the thinning medication.

Those who are on medications for thyroid, blood pressure, and diabetes should not take Moringa along with the medicines. The reason is straightforward, it increases thyroid function, and taking it along with medication with the same effects might give too much hike to thyroid levels. And it reduces blood pressure and blood sugar levels so they might drop too low. 

 

Conclusion

Moringa is essentially the leaves that are dried and powdered at the end of the dry season (November – December) when they have turned into a brownish color. This is done so the leaves are fully matured and sun dried for enhanced benefits. Although fresh moringa leaves are also potent and can be formed into chapatis, curries, or herbal teas. 

Its plantation is very easy, requires minimum maintenance, and is drought resistant. And apart from using leaves, you can prepare delicious sambhar from the yielded drumsticks.
